Comments: Hear Ye! Hear Ye!

Think I can talk T into letting me fly to Seattle for a 5 hour knit in garden party? Yeah, I'm thinking not. Oh does it ever just suck to live in Texas and be poor. At least if I were moderately wealthy I could just take my private jet to Seattle and back. But nooooo....I am a stalker with no close stalkees...*sniffle*

It sounds like an absolute blast Blog Mistress, and I so wish I could be there. You'll be missed next week but maybe I can get a post in before you get back. *snicker snort*

Hope everyone has a great day!!

I was wondering what to do if the spousal unit and our son go hiking the first week of June. I have lots of FF Miles and Seattle would make a delightful destination. Hmmmm.

Okay, this is completely insane, but StalkerAngie and Jane's comments compel me to say, if anyone is considering flying here for the Dulaan Garden Party (again, completely insane), we can put a couple of people up at my house (which is only a couple of miles away from TMK's, and we'd be glad to ferry you back and forth if you don't have a car).

Again, completely insane, but there it is.

I'd love too, but I just returned from MD Sheep & Wool. Needless to say, there is no $$ for impromptu flights to Seattle! Hope you have a fabulous time!

Alas, I won't be able to make it, due to the fact that I'll be somewhere in the wilds of central Spain around that date.

However, I did finally watch Long Way Round (the Ewan McGregor bike trip show) and there is indeed a short segment where he visits the children in the heating tunnels as part of his work with UNICEF. I am going to clip that part of the show for you (it's smack dab in the middle of a 50-minute episode), burn it onto a disk and mail it to ya. It'll be viewable on a computer, and maybe you can show it at the knit-in.

Anyhow, if you want it, send a mailing address to my email?
