Hmmm, if you wash the Freddie yarn, will it return to its former glory??

I'm afraid not, Lisa. I think Freddie is good and fried.

Pardon the Texan (I don't speak French), but hot dayum. Those pics are awesome. Hope you and TMK spend lots of time together cuz I think I gonna stalk her too.....I mean, there's the woodworking, the gardening and now the pictures. Is there anything you two CAN'T do as a couple? Sheesh!

My sympathies for Freddie. I call tomorrow for a day of mourning. I will wear black in Freddie's honor. And I live in Texas and it's summertime so you know it's sincere. A moment of silence at 12pm Pacific. His death will not be in vain.

Hope everyone has a great day. ;o)

Oh, we do truly love the Blue Angels around here.

AND! Please to tell that darling Mysterious K that we have a new drill! Oh! My! God!

It has no cord. So you charge it up in the battery pack and you take it Anywhere. ANd it has a nice heft to it -- feels like it Means Business.

I am SO going to be hanging things up in the office it the maintenance people aren't in there THIS DAMN WEEK!!!!!

Oh, sorry, another little fit there...

Trust me, Angie--there's puh-lenty we can't do. Perhaps I just don't write about the things that, er, don't go well. ;-)

Anne, yesterday I read your hoot of a blog entry about the catastrophe that is your new office. I am rooting for you and your new drill, girl! (Which, by the way, I envision you carrying everywhere just because you can: The supermarket, yard sales, class, PTA meetings, conferences, department meetings, on Sunday drives...)

Only one slide outa four, eh? Nonetheless, honey, you need to be careful where you're pointing those Breasts of Fury. They appear to be armed, dangerous and out of control.

Posted by Kit at August 12, 2004 11:49 AM

Sorry, Kit; I have no control over my Breasts of Fury. They just do what they wanna do and aim where they wanna aim so if, at the next Ferals, I'm standing and you're sitting and you zig and I zag, I promise to pay for the eye doctor's appointment.

Anne,

Go wave your new drill at the maintenance people. That should be enough to scare them into coming and hanging some cabinets on the walls before you do. Because once you start hanging cabinets, holes will be made, studs may be missed, drywall will be damaged...and, well, they'll have to spend more time fixing walls then it would have taken to just hang the darn shelves! ;-)

I'll wear my safety glasses.

My mother says that every baby girl should be issued a power drill at birth. So next time the sweater isn't finished in time for the baby shower, just pop into the local hardware store and make a purchase.

Y'know, I've heard Da Boyz go overhead a million times, but for some reason whenever they're buzzing the City, I'm either working or doing something equally as Inside. I've never seen them at play. Someday.... Fab photos.
