Comments: A Hare Too Short

I would have called the blog you linked to The Woolen Wabbit but, you know, I have dain bramage. The part that really made me laugh was the name of the LYS (local yarn store?): Woolie For Ewe. Any endeavor that's ripe for puns had my full seal of approval.

Oh, the tutu sporting bunny is sad and cute and funny all at once. Goodness me. Have as happy a Wednesday as you can with your ginormous document task.

Late to the party as usual! Just wanted you to know that my early-morning drive through downtown Berkeley offered several views of skinny men pushing overloaded shopping carts while sporting head coverings not unlike yours of Monday's blog. Urban trendsetter look...

Thanks for the mention, i am blushing:)
the Rabbit: my god the laughter, but just what coke are you snorting out the nose? (Insert dr. evil laugh here)

Posted by Devin at October 6, 2004 11:07 AM

Why, Devin, that would be Coke-with-a-capital-c, you naughty boy.

And Janine, don't give the Dear Readers any ideas. They may already be taking up a collection to buy me my own overloaded shopping cart.

Cuzzin Tom, you should know by now there is no shortage of puns in the knitting world. And, you, m'dear, are only making it worse.

Nathania, thanks for the words of encouragement. The ginormous document is nearing completion.

How is Faina coming along Ms. Ryan...have you been able to get back to her after The Claw Incident? I'm exactly at the start of row 100, and darn pleased about it too.

Re: Coke vs coke.... So....Diet Coke? Classic Coke? Coke with Lime? Caff. Free Coke? C2? That was my first thought of what "kind" of coke. Gawd...ala Rachel (yarnagogo), I AM a soccer mom, aren't i? sigh.

in about a week's time you have used not only the word 'entrails' but now 'nonce'!! i bow to this accomplishment-

isn't it sad how work so often tends to interrupt what should be our sybaritic lives??

stay happy-

Note to TMK: I think we would all enjoy a photo of Ryan snorting coke -- er, I mean Coke -- out of her nose!

Lisa, what a coinkidink--I am on row 100 also (only, um--cover mouth with hand and whisper coyly--in the second pattern repeat). I am continuing with Faina but I am also giving my hand a break by working simultaneously on a sweater (for me!!!) that uses size 10 needles. More details about the sweater on Friday, if the ginormous document is done. In the meantime, isn't Faina luscious?

Barb, thank you for recognizing my attempts at shoehorning rarely used or obsolete words into the blog. It's a sickness. What can I say?

Posted by Ryan at October 6, 2004 02:15 PM

...and barb in texas is all just throwing in a little gem like "sybaritic"! How can we keep up?

Harvey says "Thanks for making me star of the day!!!", even if he does look a wee bit silly...LOL. Don't be sad for him though......he is already sporting a 1 inch coat of lovely new fur, that would make any upstanding bunny envious:-)).

I enjoy the word "nonce" which heretofore I had only seen in cozy, British mysteries.

Just testing to make sure I haven't messed something up.

The first time I saw HTH all I could think of was... uhhnnnn... "Her *what?* Highness"? I had to look it up too, but before I did, I came up with a lot of interesting "T" words to insert.
