Darth Ginger

Darth Ginger met me at the door this afternoon. I think she thinks I think she is a Different Cat sometimes.

Did I work on LaJ yesterday? Why, yes I did!! Do I have an updated picture? No, I don't! Brad walked by my computer a couple of days ago while a picture of LaJ was up on it and stopped when he saw it. He said "Wow, I had no idea you had made so much progress on that!" This is pretty funny, since he sits beside me every night while I am knitting on it!! Who knows what I could do while he's "watching tv" (code for snoring)!

And what have my knitting friends been up to, you ask? Why, the very talented Vanessa has sent me pictures of her work in progress... I believe she said it was Abalone from Pacific Coast Highway? I'm not sure because I don't recognize it as the cover sweater of the book. Vanessa, can you illuminate the kniterati, s'il vous plait?

And look! Vanessa took *her* WIP out for a walk! No wonder it looks so happy!

It's that worst part of the year when most things are very dead and the spring hasn't started to spring yet. Judith sent me a picture of Hope, and it is quite beautiful.... witch hazel:

You just never know what you might find in all that snow!
