Here I am in my Rona's Hill vest, which fits very nicely. I wish I had made the shoulders a little less shelf-like, but other than that I am pleased.

Nice nice nice!
Note to self: Never attempt the second pose until your figure looks like Sheila's.
Oh Sheila,it's fantastic. As are you.I don't wish to make you blush, and I'm not being sycophantic, but you are a strikingly beautiful woman. You also take fantastic photographs !
I think the vest looks marvellous. If the shoulders bother you [I think they're fine] why not machine titch and cut to get a better shape ?I'm deeply impressed by the shoulder slope shaping.
A fab piece of knitting all round.

Posted by: Annette on February 5, 2005 02:56 PMIt looks beautiful (nice back view too *grin*)
I thinks it's very becoming. The shoulder shaping in the round is very intriguing, I'm going to have to look into that.
You guuuuuyyyyysssss! You're supposed to be looking at the *vest*! :-) But you've made me feel like a million bucks, so I'll forgive you this time!
I've been forbidden by the Lady Felina to touch the vest any more. Whew!
Posted by: Sheila on February 5, 2005 03:34 PMYeah, I know what you mean about the shelf shoulders: some people like them, some don't; some see it as a bug, some see it as a design feature. I think your vest looks great, and I think trying to eliminate the "shelfiness" would mean making a too-steep angle from the underarm to the shoulders that would detract from the pattern. It's beautiful the way it is.

Can it safely be said that you have your knitting groove back?...
Posted by: Beth S. on February 7, 2005 06:56 AMBoth the vest and the view are very impressive Madame G. 10 days? Doubly impressed.
