To make a long story short, no job offers were forthcoming, because the company was not able to meet my salary expectations (which I had dropped considerably since my last job). No worries; I find that in these cases things usually turn out for the best, and now I can relax and focus on something. Hmmm, I know! How about the poor neglected Knitter's Index?
A couple of weeks ago I sorted all my patterns that live in the big blue binders and categorized them. It was a good exercise, not only for the organizational ease for future reference, but also to get to salivating once more over a system that makes finding particular designs easier.
Meanwhile, daughter and son-in-law are expected this weekend, movng at last from Las Vegas to make their home in Seattle, and their temporary home at Happy Holler. We are all very excited, except for Sherlock, who eyes any newcomers with great suspicion.
I asked Sherah if her Bulgarian husband, Lyubo, liked dogs. "Yes!" she responded, excitedly. "He loves German Shepherds. But you know his English is not perfect, and one time he told me that his most favorite dog would be 'the dog that is called the Coq Espanol'".
