Hot-water bottle waits
To warm my icy toes
But thieving cat wins.

Does the cat win as warmth-provider or warmth-snatcher?

Hmph. If my cats want to sandwich my toes between them and the hot water bottle, fine, but outright thieving is not allowed. They may want the warmth, but I need it.
