From the website:

Mark these dates on your calendar as Suzanne and Cornie have created another great retreat for you and some surprises. We are pleased to announce that Deb Menz will be here to show us how to plan, coordinate, and use color in anything that we are creating. Deb returns to Gig Harbor after a long absence and we are excited to host her. She is the author of “Color in Spinning” and her new book, “Color Works”, is quickly becoming the essential resource for all of us wanting to understand the use of color. Deb will teach us how to use color in very creative ways, ply yarns for color and blend fiber too! So be prepared for a very COLORFUL Winter Retreat! Lucy Neatby returns to show us her clever knitting techniques and some sock designs and tricks. Carol Rhoades will introduce us to Victorian lace Knitting and Twined or Two-End Knitting and Beth Brown Reinsel will teach a special class on Gansey Sweater Techniques.

Spinners everywhere flock to Judith MacKenzie McCuin’s classes and this year she will be doing a special class with Shetland wool. Those who want a good introduction to spinning might want to take Michele Camacho’s class in spindle spinning. Remember those favorite classes that filled so quickly last year? We are bringing back Karen Alfke to teach her Top Down Sweaters and Lauren Lindeman with her Transitions Vest. So register early to not miss out! And we have so much more..... Evelyn Clark, Susanna Hansson, Kathryn Connelly, Sarah Hauschka, Suzanne Sullivan, and Carol Robinson with classes on beaded bracelets, tassels and fringes, two color reversible knitting, perfect ponchos, lace borders, fair isle tams, buttonholes, Japanese short rows, and magic loop. And don’t forget our fabulous Yarn and Fiber Marketplace, Teacher’s Gallery and Saturday Night Banquet. It’s time to plan for your winter escape!

Registration for the 2005 Winter Retreat will open in late October.
